Bristol International Balloon Festival
7th – 10th August 2008
One of Europe’s largest free outdoor spectacles takes place each
year on the grounds of Ashton Court Estate, around 19 miles from the Gables. The fiesta is free and includes the fabulous spectacle of
mass launches of 120 hot air balloons each morning and evening
(6am and 6pm, weather permitting).
